Posters have been used for marketing purposes since the first printing press was invented. Originally, they were used to inform the public of news, upcoming events, elections, and announcements before newspapers began being published. From design competitions to design challenges, I have made quite a few posters in my day - some for work, some for jobs, some for fun.
"Challenges are what make life interesting, overcoming them is what makes life meaningful." These are typically 1-3 day turn around projects for jobs or raises.
Cabela's "In-Tents" Camping was a campaign idea that I had for intense hikers and campers who were Cabela's frequent buyers. The goal was encourage them to participate in National Camping Week with the brand. This campaign promotes various in-store products while hosting camp socials at local parks. At said parks, there would be firepits, gaming stations and more. This campaign won a Silver Addy in the "Non-Traditional" category.
"We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their [design]". These are diverse items I've created as hiring design assessments, one-off freelance projects, and more cool stuff that didn't fit anywhere else.
